Roughly two hours of painting for
this week's blog. A lovely idea I had while drifting off to sleep last night to represent age, life, and scale. Pretty happy with how the sun turned out (spent most of my time there). Had to rush a bit on the moon. I really feel like my digital painting skills are improving. Really came down to one tutorial I watched that set me up with a good basic brush I now use for everything. Also, using swatches and color picker to restrict my palette has helped a lot though I think these pieces could still benefit from greater contrast. Starting with a black and white under painting to establish tone would probably help that.
