Oldest Ware Part 2 Cover

My first true fully digital painting, a book cover for my cousin's book he's writing with his friend. I read the first one, think of a cross between the Phantom Tollbooth and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy aka fantasy surreal scifi with a retro twist. Fun stuff.

The scene depicted in the cover is one of novel forms of transportation our heroes, the Captain and Jennifer, use over the course. The Spirit Snake takes them across Jupiter's many moons. The snake was suppose to span the back cover as well with two secondary characters depicted but I ran out time.

This took a lot longer than anticipated, especially since I was only working in my free time. Next time I'll choose a simpler style. I'm content with everything but the two characters themselves who I feel still need work
